EPSRC scholarship, my research focuses on long-term behavior learning for robot-assisted recovery after critical injury. You can read more about my project here.

The Feather project aims to develop an intervention for the early detection of urinary tract infections, consisting of smart sensing, an intelligent social agent, and a decision support system. I worked on the early design phase of the intelligent agent component.

Focussed largely on cyber-security and digital transformation for public/private sector clients. Reviewed IT network infrastructure and security policies, contributed to technical documentation and was part of a small software development team working on internal products.

Cash office specialist and lead safe responsible, member of the frontline team leading the general running of the checkout line. Attended country meetings and deployed small-scale IT projects.

Grade A or equivalent in six or more courses studied as part of an undergraduate degree in one academic year (year 4).

I have been a part of various events, demonstrating robotic technologies and engaging with the public. Some events include the CENSIS Summit, the National Robotarium official opening event and the Edinburgh Science Festival.

I frequently give talks/lectures to visiting academics/students on topics of Human-Robot Interaction and AI, as well as presentations at conferences around the world.

Invited speaker at the Ageing and Health Research Group, Usher Institute, The University of Edinburgh.

I was an organiser for the Tech-Me-Out event for the Edinburgh Pint of Science festival, which included 3 nights of talks from researchers in the field of AI and robotics.

2nd organiser for the Socially Assistive Robots as Decision Makers - Transparency, Motivations and Intentions workshop (ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems, Hamburg, Germany 2023)

I work with students, faculty staff and the Student Union to improve the life of postgraduate students in Computer Science at Heriot-Watt University.

I have co-supervised an MSc project, leading to a publication at HRI2024 (accepted, awaiting publication).

I have strong experience leading tutorials/lab sessions, designing and marking coursework and exams and lecturing. Courses include Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Agents (Year 3/MSc), Human-Robot Interaction (Year 4/MSc), Advanced Human-Computer Interaction (Year 4/MSc), Web Design and Databases (Year 1), Software Development 1 (Year 1), and Software Engineering Foundations (MSc).
